The AMVETS Post 35 Scholarship program provides opportunities for advanced education for our North Okaloosa County selected High School seniors who desire to attend an institution of higher learning. Every year, AMVETS Post 35 provides scholarships to deserving students, helping them pursue their dreams of higher education. These scholarships aleviate some of the families financial burdens and empower students to focus on achieving their goals, whether collage, vocational training, or other educational pathways.

Local Community North Okaloosa County High Schools We have several events through the year that all proceeds go towards our AMVETS Post 35 Craig Sarrasin Memorial Academic Scholarship program. Our biggest event is our Golf Tournament. This year will be our 18th Annual. Through sponsorships and players this makes a huge impact in the lives of these young adults for their higher education. Everyone is welcome to come out and help support our future leaders, rather it be through sponsorship or playing in the tournament. AMVETS scholarships are designed to fulfill a financial gap after all Federal/State grants and/or scholarships available to an eligible applicant have been exhausted.
In-House Scholarship AMVETS Post 35 is proud to offer scholarships/grants to our AMVETS Post 35 members or subordinate Post 35 Organization member. Immediate family member as defined: spouses, parents, grandparent, brother and sister, child and grandchild as well as any type of family-in-law. Any adopted or step children of an AMVET or subordinate organization of Post 35 members are included. ​
AMVETS scholarships are designed to fulfill a financial gap after all Federal/State grants and/or scholarships available to an eligible applicant have been exhausted.

AMVETS Post 35 In-House Scholarship AMVETS offers an in-house Scholarship for immediate family of an AMVETS, or subordinate Post 35 organization member.
